Google Reviews. For countertop store and countertop fabricators, there are a few places that you want good reviews. Google and Houzz are a great starting point. It’s our opinion that testimonials on your website have little value compared to great reviews on Google, which people actually see and trust. But where people really see your reviews is when they are doing a search on google. The reviews are front and center. If they are bad, many online customers will just avoid your business.
Facebook and Other Review sites. Google’s local listings include reviews on every search so they are critical. Facebook review and other sites just don’t compare as you are getting started. Think about it this way – assume a visitor comes to your site for the first time. Many people will check out social presence. A good example is your facebook page. If you only have a few followers – you need to start growing your Facebook “likes”. Having many legitimate followers is like having good reviews. If your business has a few thousand followers – it’s an indication that you are well liked by your customers.
Growing Reviews. If your last review was from 2016 – the reviews are not helping you. In fact, they are hurting you. Look, if you care about your business and do a good job you can get good reviews.
